Every pet takes time getting familiar with a car seat. Before setting the car seat up, follow the steps below to make sure your pet is comfortable using it.
Begin with the car seat on the ground. Allow your pet to approach the car seat on his own and reward with treats and praise when he does.
Set up the car seat once your pet is comfortable around it.
Secure your pet in the car seat with the harness attachment. Make sure to adjust the length of the tether so your pet cannot jump out of the seat.
