How to Adjust Button Settings on My PetSafe® SMART DOG® Trainer

The default buttons are as pictured above, with the tone button at the bottom and the closest to where your thumb naturally sits. The static stimulation and the static level adjuster are at the top, and the vibration is on the right.

If you would like to change the orientation of the buttons push the SETTINGS button at the bottom of the screen.

Whichever button you use most often can be set as your primary button. This will make it the largest button and closest to your thumb's natural resting place while holding your phone.

On the SETTINGS screen, you can remove buttons from the REMOTE screen you don’t use by hitting the toggle switch under ACTIVE BUTTONS.

You can also change the button orientation based on whether you are left-handed or right-handed.
