How to Assemble My PetSafe® SSSCAT® Spray
Important Information
Ensure the locking ring is correctly aligned each time you attach a spray can. Misalignment can cause the spray to leak due to the spray unit and spray can not having a good seal.
Line up the rounded notch on the locking ring with the center slot on the spray unit and slide up to lock into place.
Remove the protective shipping cover from the spray can.
Place the spray unit on the can.
Press the spray unit on the can and pull the locking ring down into place. You may hear air release when inserting the new can.
Slide open the battery door and insert the 4 AAA batteries, starting with the outer two and then inserting the middle two.
Power on by adjusting the power switch to the left “|” position.
After powering on, you must wait 2 minutes for the spray unit to calibrate before use.
