How To Change the Filter in My PetSafe® Outlast™ 60 oz or 90 oz Pumpless Pet Fountain
Important Information
Your fountain will begin blinking blue when it is time to change the filter. This automatic filter reminder is on a 21-day timer. You may choose to turn this reminder off. Replacement filters can be purchased on PetSafe.com.

Unplug the fountain and wait for the motor to stop spinning.
Lift to remove the lid, cone, and spout assembly. Then remove the bowl tray and pour out the water from the fountain.
Remove the old filter in the bowl by pulling up on the tab and then discard.
Rinse the new carbon filter thoroughly under cold water to remove any loose carbon dust. Insert the new filter by holding the tab on top and sliding it into the slot in the bowl’s tower. The filter is reversible, so it can face either direction.
Plug the fountain base back into the wall outlet.
If using the filter reminder, press and hold the status light/button for 10 seconds to reset the timer. The status light will blink blue every second while you hold the button down. Continue to hold the button down until the status light changes to red.
Reinsert the bowl into the base.
Replace the lid, cone, and spout assembly, aligning the spout with the cutout on the tower.
Refill the bowl with water to the max fill line and fit the clear tray on the top of the bowl.
Do not overfill the bowl or fill the fountain from the tower. This can damage the fountain.
