How to Charge My PetSafe® Rechargeable In-Ground Fence™ Collar
Important Information
The Indicator Light on the collar will flash:
- Green when the battery has 100%-60% battery charge.
- Yellow when the battery has 60%-20% battery charge.
- Red when the battery has 20% or less battery charge. Only charge the collar when it is flashing red.
Fully charging the collar will take 2-3 hours.
Each charge can last up to 3 months depending on the frequency of use.
Lift the rubber charging port cover.
Align the ridge on the charger end with the slot in the charging port and insert the charger into the collar.
Insert the other end of the charger into a USB wall adapter and outlet or another USB outlet.
The light on the collar will be red while charging. When fully charged, the light will be solid green.
Replace the rubber charging port cover on the collar when charging is complete.
When storing the collar for long periods, fully charge the collar every 4-6 weeks to help prevent the battery from degrading.
