How To Completely Empty My PetSafe® ScoopFree® SmartSpin™ Self-Cleaning Litter Box
Before You Begin
You will want to have an additional waste bin liner and additional litter handy. Waste bin liners can be purchased on PetSafe.com.
Please note that the Litter Sifter Cover only comes with the black model and the newer versions of the white SmartSpin™. If your SmartSpin® did come with a Litter Sifter Cover, set it to the side and save it for later.
Without a Litter Sifter Cover
Remove the cover from the sphere.
Unlatch the sphere at the back of the base.
Remove the Litter Sifter from inside the sphere.
Remove the sphere and pour the contents into a garbage bag. It will be easier to pour out of the rectangular opening.

With a Litter Sifter Cover
Make sure the waste drawer is empty and has room for all contents of the litter box.
Install the Litter Sifter Cover to the Litter Sifter by aligning the magnets.
Press the Cleaning Button.
Once the cycle is complete, remove the Litter Sifter Cover and wash it with soap and water.
Empty the waste drawer once more.
