Disassemble the Fountain

Unplug And Disconnect Power AdaptorUnplug And Disconnect Power Adaptor

Unplug the power adapter from the outlet. Disconnect the pump from the power adapter.

Pour Out Water Into SinkPour Out Water Into Sink

Empty the fountain by pouring out any remaining water.


If the fountain is mostly full, it can be very heavy to lift. You may need to remove some water with a cup prior to moving it to a sink or tub.

Remove Lid, Flow Control And TowerRemove Lid, Flow Control And Tower

Remove the lid, flow control knob, and tower.

Pry Open The Connector TubePry Open The Connector Tube

Remove the connector tube and open by sticking your finger in the top to pry open the two halves.

Remove Filter Housing From Pump And Remove Old FilterRemove Filter Housing From Pump And Remove Old Filter

Remove the filter housing. Open to remove and discard the old carbon filter.

Remove Pump, Foam Filter And Lift Pump Cord PlugRemove Pump, Foam Filter And Lift Pump Cord Plug

Remove the pump and foam filter. Lift the pump cord plug from the hole and pull the pump cord through to remove.

Clean the Fountain

Items Can be Placed In DishwasherItems Can be Placed In Dishwasher

Wash the plastic parts of the fountain with warm water and soap or in the top rack of the dishwasher.


Do not put the pump, power adapter, or filters in the dishwasher.

Clean the Pump

Reassemble the Fountain

Reassemble the fountain. Be sure to rinse the new carbon filter before inserting it.
