Reassemble
Align the pump with the guides in the bowl and place the pump in the fountain. Press down on the pump to adhere the suction cup feet to the fountain bowl.
Run the pump cord through the opening and under the fountain. Pull excess cord, leaving some slack from the pump to the hole.
Tuck the cord into the cord channels on the underside of the bowl. Thread the cord along the back of the fountain to the cord notch.
If you need to shorten the cord, wrap the cord inside around the bowl and through the cord channel a second time, then out through the cord pass-through.
Rinse the carbon filter under warm water for 30 seconds, then insert it into the filter housing with the narrow side down and the black side facing the front.
Align the filter housing with the bowl, ensuring the intake tube is directly over the pump opening. Press down gently to lock the filter housing into place.
Slide the pre-filter into the channel over the flow control knob on the pump.
Place the fountain in your desired location. Pour water into the filter housing and bowl until the water level is about ½ inch from the bowl rim. Then replace the lid on the filter housing.
Unscrew the cap on the water reservoir and fill with water.
Replace and tighten the cap on the reservoir. Flip the reservoir so that the cap is facing down.
Place the water reservoir into the bowl and allow the bowl to finish filling from the reservoir.
Connect the pump cord to the power adapter. Plug the power adapter into an outlet.
Adjust the flow knob to increase or decrease the flow of water to your preference.
