While your pet is standing, fit the shoulder straps (B) around the pet’s shoulders. The seat belt loop (C) is located between the shoulder blades.

Important: The seat belt handle is designed to prevent your dog from interfering with your driving. This is not a crash-tested safety restraint.

When fit properly, two fingers should barely fit between the skin and nylon strap. This prevents the harness from moving and chafing your dog’s skin.

Recheck the fit after 10 minutes. It is normal to have to make minor adjustments shortly after the initial fit.
