How to Install the Happy Ride® Backpack Pet Carrier in Your Vehicle

Should you be involved in an automobile accident, your furry traveling companion will have a much better chance at avoiding injury when they are contained within the backpack than if they were to be uncontained.
- Only place backpack in the back seat of your vehicle.
- Only attach the safety tether to a harness, not a collar.
- Always make sure the drawstring opening is closed securely before using as a backpack or in a vehicle.
Place the pet carrier on the back seat of your vehicle.
Pass the seat belt through the fabric panel at the back of the pet carrier and then buckle it. You may choose to lock the seatbelt for additional security. For seat belts without a shoulder strap, tighten the seatbelt until there is no slack.
