How to Replace the Filter in My PetSafe® Drinkwell® Platinum Fountain

Replace the filter every 2-4 weeks.
It is recommended to disassemble and clean your fountain when needing to replace the filter.
Never wash the filter in the dishwasher or with soapy water as the soap residue will seep into the filter and cannot be removed. Only rinse the filter with water.

Unplug the fountain from the outlet and remove the lid.

Remove the filter from the filter housing.

Rinse the new filter under warm water for 30 seconds. This will help clear loose particles, so they do not appear in the bowl.

Place the new rinsed filter into the filter housing with the black side facing the front of the fountain.

Replace the lid.
