How to Replace the Spray Can on My PetSafe® SSSCAT® Spray
Important Information
- Ensure your replacement can is a PetSafe® SSSCAT® refill can. Using any other product can result in damage to the spray unit.
- Replacement cans can be purchased through our website here.
Remove Old Can
Turn the spray unit off by adjusting the power switch to the right “O” position.
Lift the locking ring and remove the spray unit from the old can. You may hear air release when removing from the can.
Remove the spray can and batteries when storing the spray unit.
Attach New Can
Start with the spray unit powered off.
Remove the protective shipping cover from the replacement can.
Lift the locking ring on the spray unit, ensuring the notch on the ring is lined up with the slot on the spray device.
Place the spray unit on the new can.
Press the spray unit on the can and pull the locking ring down into place. You may hear air release when inserting the new can.
Power the spray unit on by adjusting the power switch to the left “|” position.
After powering on, you must wait 2 minutes for the spray unit to calibrate before use.
