How to Set or Change the Time on My PetSafe® 5 Meal Pet Feeder
Important Information
Before setting the time, insert 4 D-cell batteries into the feeder according to the diagram in the battery compartment.
View Current Time
The default display shows the current time if it has been set.
- If the display is showing something other than the current time, press and release the clock button.
- If the display is showing no numbers on the screen, a time has not been set.
- If the display is not showing anything, confirm the batteries are new and inserted in the correct direction.
Change Time Format
If you would like to change the time format between 12-hour and 24-hour, do so before changing the time.
- To change, press and hold the clock button for 15 seconds, then release.
- If you are changing the format from 12-hour to 24-hour, when you release the clock button the AM/PM icon will disappear.
- If you are changing the format from 24-hour to-12 hour, when you release the clock button the AM/PM icon will appear.
- If there is no change when you release the clock button, press and hold the button again, ensuring it is held for a minimum of 15 seconds before releasing.
Set the Time
Press the clock button.
Press the select button. The hours will begin to flash.
Use the increase button to progress through the AM hours and the decrease button to progress through the PM hours. If you are using a 24-hour time format, use the increase or decrease buttons to adjust to the correct hour.
Press the select button again. The minutes will begin to flash.
Use the increase and decrease buttons to adjust the minutes.
Press the clock button to finish setting the time.
