How to Test My PetSafe® Bark Collar
When testing the PetSafe® Bark Collar for correction it is recommended that you have the collar and the Test Light Tool available during the test.
Before proceeding, remove the collar from the pet.
Start with the collar off and check that your contact points are the same length.
Use the Test Light Tool to ensure the contact points are hand tight.
Power the collar on. Confirm the collar blinks green twice. This should take approximately 5-10 seconds.
Press and hold the power button. Continue to hold the power button through the red light and power-off tone.
Release the power button when the light turns blue.
Keep your fingers away from the contact points to avoid giving yourself a static correction.
Place the contact points on the Test Light Tool while the collar cycles through Test Mode. The center of the Test Light Tool will flash orange indicating a static correction. Once the collar has cycled through all the correction levels, the collar will turn off.
