My Dog Is Still Barking While Using the PetSafe® NanoBark™ 2.0 Collar

You should notice a reduction in your dog’s barking within the first couple of days of use. Remember, your dog’s learning process is still not complete. Dogs will test this new learning experience and may increase their attempts to bark. This usually occurs during the second week a dog wears the bark collar. If this does occur, remain consistent and do not alter your use of the bark collar. If your dog has had no response or has not improved, follow the troubleshooting below.

Make sure your collar is turned on and charged, indicated by a green light flashing every 5 seconds. If your collar has no power or a low battery status indicated by a red flashing light every 5 seconds, please charge your battery. Ensure that the Contact Points are both the same length and hand-tight on the collar. Important: Always tighten the Contact Points by hand. Using the Test Light Tool to install the Contact Points can lead to over-tightening and may damage the collar.

Test the collar for functionality. Visit How To Test My PetSafe® NanoBark™ 2.0 Collar.

Check for proper fit. Fit is the most essential part when it comes to bark collars. Visit How To Fit My PetSafe® NanoBark™ 2.0 Collar.
