My PetSafe® Elite Big Dog or Elite Little Dog Remote and Collar are Not Connected
Start by making sure both the collar and remote are fully charged and have power.
- When any button on the remote is pressed, the screen should turn on. Check the battery level at the top of the screen.
- While powered on, the collar should flash a green light once every 5 seconds.
If either device doesn’t have a full charge or power, fully charge before proceeding.

Test both functions.
Static
Set the stimulation level to 7 on the remote. Place the wires of the Test Light Tool, on the collar's contact points. Then press and hold the yellow button for Dog 1 or the lower-gray button for Dog 2 on the remote. The light on the collar should turn red and an amber light will flicker in the center of the Test Light Tool.
Tone
Press and hold the green button for Dog 1 or the upper-gray tone button for Dog 2 on your remote. The collar should start beeping.
Pair the remote and collar.
