My PetSafe® ScoopFree® SmartSpin™ Self-Cleaning Litter Box Is Not Weighing Accurately
Before You Begin:
If litter was added without the SmartSpin™ being in Add Litter Mode, the litter box will need to be manually cleaned once by pressing the Cleaning Button on the display panel, or the Manual Clean button in the app. If this does not resolve the issue, follow the steps below.
You will need household items that will fit into the ScoopFree® SmartSpin™ weighing 2 pounds and an item that weighs 20 pounds.
Ensure theScoopFree®SmartSpin™ has been powered on for at least 10 seconds.
Press and hold the Wi-Fi Reset Button and the Cleaning Button on the control panel at the same time until a 0 appears on the display.
Place the item weighing 2 pounds into the ScoopFree® SmartSpin™ and press the Cleaning Button once.
The display will then change to a 9. Place the 20-pound item into the SmartSpin™ and press the Cleaning Button once. The display will then turn off. Wait 3 seconds to remove the 20-pound weight.
Verify the proper weight is registering within the app on the usage log. It is normal for the weight to have a 1–2-pound deviation. If there continues to be a significant variance in weight, contact Customer Care.
