My PetSafe® ScoopFree® SmartSpin™ Self-Cleaning Litter Does Not Last Long or Has a Strong Odor
Ensure high-quality litter is in use. Non-clumping litter and multiple cats using the same litter box will result in the need to empty the waste bin and replace litter more frequently.
Empty the waste bin and ensure a liner is in use. Waste bin liners can be purchased at PetSafe.com.
Change the deodorizer every 15 days. They can be purchased on PetSafe.com.
Adjust the sifting time in the app. A longer cleaning delay may be necessary to allow your litter to perform at its optimum level. For crystal and clumping, we recommend at least a 20-minute cleaning delay. This may vary depending on the type and brand of litter.
Empty the litter box and replace the litter. The number of cats using the litter box will vary the frequency in which the litter will need to be changed.
