My ScoopFree® Litter Box has a Blue and Red Flashing Light
Start by unplugging the power adapter from the wall outlet for 10 seconds. Make sure the litter is evenly distributed throughout the tray. Check for anything that was accidentally dropped in the tray or brought in by your cat that could be blocking the sensors or interrupting the rake.
Plug the litter box back into the wall outlet and confirm the rake is in the home position. If it is not, press the manual rake button.
Make sure the magnets on the waste trap cover are properly attached to the magnet connection on the litter tray. Lift the waste trap cover from the tray waste trap flap and reconnect the magnets. You should hear a click when the magnets reconnect.
If you are using the reusable litter tray, confirm proper placement and attachment to the waste trap bar.
Check to see if the waste trap is full by rotating the waste trap cover forward. If the there is too much waste, the rake will not be able to finish its cycle. Replace the litter tray if necessary.
Lift the litter box from the front to an upright position. Clean out the rake track with compressed air or a damp cloth. Litter or debris can get caught in the track and prevent the rake from moving.
